The queen of the motocross bikes of the early 1970s, the KTM 125 Gs (Lot 43, estimated at 2,500-5,000 euros), and the original and colourful Innocenti Lui 50 Cl lambretta: from dusty tracks to city avenues, two extremes of the two-wheeled universe are among the lots, the central characters of the auction of mopeds, scooters and motorbikes, scheduled for Friday 18 March at Garage Bolaffi in Turin (Corso Verona 34/D) preceded by the exhibits on display open to the public starting from Thursday 10 March. 
 
Particularly significant in the catalogue of 97 lots is the section of light and medium-sized displacement of motorcycles with the best representatives of the Italian production of the period, among which the Bianchi 125 Freccia Celeste (Lot 15, estimated at 2,500-4,000 euros), the Gilera 300 (Lot 28, estimated at 2,000-3,000 euros), the Laverda 200 and the Mival 175 Sport, whose bright colours and sinuous shapes remind us of the golden years of Italian motorcycling. There are also two examples from the Second World War: a military BSA M 20 with its original equipment and a Machtless G3L converted for civilian use.
 
There is no lack of scooters: the Salsbury 85 (Lot 91, estimate at 8,000-10,000 euros) is perfectly preserved and its design is fascinating; the Swallow Gadabout (Lot 95, estimated at 1,500-2,500 euros) has a rare elegance. There is also a classic Lambretta C, in perfect condition, and an LC 125, in need of restoration.
 
Off-road motorbikes have a privileged place in the catalogue: the Bianchi MT 61 forerunner of modern enduros, the rare Parilla 175 Motocross, the agile Gilera 124 5 V, the iconic KTM 125 GS and the mighty Husqvarna TE 610; all draw the line of technical evolution in the sector.
 
Among the curiosities, we have to mention two customised BMW R 100 R motorbikes, winners of various exhibitions, an IZH Jupiter & sidecar (Lot 42, estimated at 7,000-11,000 euros), a Moto Guzzi Airone 250 Sport and a Gilera Saturno Sport ready to roar on the track and on the road with its extraordinary sound and sports trim.
