FROM THE LANCIA JOLLY TRUCK SET UP AS A MOBILE CINEMA TO THE FIAT OLLEARO VAN

Original and curious cars, great 20th century classics and many special pieces, from barn finds to sought-after cars, make up the catalogue of the next car auction by Aste Bolaffi, scheduled for 25 March in live internet mode at 4 pm with a catalogue of 49 lots from the 1950s to the early 2000s.

Besides the now traditional presence in the catalogue of Fiat 500s in their rarest versions and derivatives – such as the N, the Scoiattolo and the very famous Ferves Ranger – there are also two rarities for lovers of special vehicles: an amusing Lancia Jolly truck, set up as a mobile cinema and still equipped with all the original equipment of the time for screenings (estimate 30,000-45,000 euros), and a rare Fiat 500 C transformed by the Ollearo Company of Turin into a three-axle van, an authentic collector’s item not to be missed by fans of special vehicles (estimate 25,000-35,000 euros).

For this sale, Aste Bolaffi has also selected a set of perfectly restored and accessorized off-road vehicles, such as the legendary Land Rover Defender (estimate 22,000-28,000 euros), and the 1988 Jeep Wagoneer, the first true luxury SUV (estimate 22,000-28,000 euros).

The top lot in the catalogue is an Alfa Romeo Giulia GTC, a model that was already rare at the time as it was built by the Touring Coachworks for just one year, between 1965 and 1966, in less than 1,000 examples, and has now become almost unobtainable and therefore highly sought after by collectors (estimate 60,000-75,000 euros).

As always, there is no shortage of “barn find” examples, including a BMW 2002 Tii (estimate 7,000-12,000 euros) and a sought-after Fiat Dino 2000 Coupé for restoration (estimate 16,000-23,000 euros), probably one of the last in this condition, both offered without reserve.

A Harrington Junior Car and two Ferrari bodyshells from the 1960s, a 250 GT Lusso and a 330 GT 2+2, complete the line-up.
