Aste Bolaffi's traditional stamp auction will be held in Turin on Thursday 6 and Friday 7 April 2023. The sale renews the appointment with new chapters of the Saverio Imperato collection.

Among the lots on which the spotlight will be turned on, a letter from Genoa to London with an isolated 3 Lire of the fourth issue of Sardinia (starting price 12,500 euros), a letter from 1855 departing from Cortona with 10 stamps of 1 quattrino of the first issue by the Grand Duchy of Tuscany (starting price 5,000 euros) and, still remaining in the issues of Tuscany, the only known letters with two 40 c. of the Provisional Government used by Garibaldi's “Cacciatori del Tevere” (starting price 15,000 euros). In the chapter dedicated on airmail, stands out an aerogramme prepared for the return flight of the 1933 Balbo Air Cruise but arrived in Italy six days in advance (starting price 5,000 euros).
