AN UNMISSABLE AUCTION FOR TWO-WHEEL LOVERS ON 13 APRIL

The upcoming Mopeds, scooters and motorcycles auction will be held on April 13 at the Garage Bolaffi in Turin. The catalogue of over 130 lots ranges from the 1930s to the present day and confirms the presence of consolidated historical brands, such as Rumi, Moto Guzzi, Itom, Motom and Gilera, in addition to cross and enduro bikes, military and modern bikes, as well as scooters and bicycles.

In keeping with tradition, the section dedicated to classic Italian cars is a must, including a Moto Guzzi GTV 500 (lot 99, estimate 10,000-14,000 euros), an Astore 500 (lot 100, estimate 10,000-14,000 euros) and a Gilera Saturno Sport (lot 72, estimate 12,000-16,000 euros). Noteworthy is the 1935 BSA Blue Star with gleaming chrome and period two-tone livery (lot 53, estimate 14,000-16,000 euros). Moving on to lighter vehicles for leisure time, the very collectable Piaggio Vespa 125 Primavera and P 200 E, together with the fun-loving Ciao mopeds of various series, will attract plenty of attention.

The catalogue also features a large and refined selection of the most famous and desired Italian and European off-road and enduro motorcycles from the 70s: from the agile Fantic Caballero 50 to the powerful KTM GS 250 (lot 89, estimate 6,000-8,000 euros) and GS 340 (lot 89, estimate 6,000-8,000 euros) lot 90, estimate 6,500-8,000 euros).

There is no shortage of bikes rarely available on the secondary market, such as the Aermacchi 125, the Ancillotti Scarab 125 and the Aspes Hopi, all perfectly restored. And then the Zundapp Gs 125 (lot 136, estimate 6,000-8,000 euros), the elegant Ossa Super Pioneer and the legendary SWM 125 ES Silver Vase (lot 135, estimate 3,000-5,000 euros). Two specimens that raced in the 1960s are vainly noticed: the Gilera 125 Bessone and the Beta Nieddu.
Also featured will be military bikes including the BSA M20, the Matchless 350, the Bianchi MT 61 and the Moto Guzzi Superalce.
