From the Rolls Royce 20/25 to the rare Charron, passing through the Topolino and the Lancia Ardea: there are 14 pre and post-war cars selected by Aste Bolaffi for the first auction of 2021, scheduled for 21 January at 4 pm internet live (astebolaffi.it). The proposal ranges from the 1910s to the post-war period and represents the ideal opportunity to enrich one’s collection with a vintage car perfectly preserved over time, restored and offered at auction at competitive prices, as in the case of the Ardea (Lot 14, base 5,000 euros), the two Topolinos in the catalogue, among which the rare Topolino “B Trasformabile” (Convertible), produced only in 1948-49 (Lot 12, base 7,000 euros), and the 509 “A Torpedo”, Fiat's first utility car, made famous by the comic-strip character Gaston Lagaffe who drove it in his adventures published in the Corriere dei Piccoli children’s magazine(Lot 509, base 10,000 euros).
Among the French cars, there is a Peugeot 201 Coupé, the first model to inaugurate the nomenclature with the zero in the centre, still used today (Lot 7, base 7,000 euros), and a rare Citroën C3 T3-2 “Trèfle” Torpedo of 1925 in the characteristic lemon yellow colour, the first available for the second car produced by the car manufacturer (Lot 5, base 7,000 euros).
Synonymous with beauty and perfection, the Rolls-Royce 20/25 Sedan with bodywork by HOOPER & Co. Ltd. is one of only 16 produced, with design number 5320, of which only 14 are known in the world. Two-tone blue and light blue, perfectly restored, it is the car par excellence that symbolizes luxury and elegance between the two wars (Lot 10, base 20,000 euros). The catalogue is enriched by a rare early car, a Charron, produced in 1914 by the French company, Charron Limited, whose founder Fernand Charron was famous in the automotive field for having often excelled, on board a Panhard, in races held at the turn of the two centuries (Lot 1, base 15,000 euros).
The experts of Aste Bolaffi are available to provide additional photographs, videos, and reports on condition and any further information on the lots for sale. You can also make an appointment to view the cars remotely (Zoom, Meet, Whatsapp, Skype, Google Duo).
