IMPORTANT NOTICES
Fountain pens, pens, and other writing instruments, as well as lighters, are sold "as is," in the condition in which they are found, with no guarantee regarding their functionality, completeness, or the authenticity of consumable materials (cartridges, flints, ink reservoirs, etc.).
No tests have been conducted to verify their proper functioning.
Lots may be viewed by appointment, or additional photographs and a condition report may be requested prior to participating in the auction.
Fountain pens described in the catalog as "uninked," while appearing unused, may show defects or alterations due to age, particularly in models with rubber ink sacs. Therefore, Aste Bolaffi does not guarantee the condition or functionality of such items.
Some components may have been replaced over time and may not be original; any discrepancies will only be reported if clearly evident during cataloging.
Lots may require the replacement of cartridges or refills, which is the responsibility of the buyer. In any case, compatibility with cartridges, refills, or fuels currently on the market is not guaranteed.
In particular, lighters may require maintenance, such as the replacement of flints, seals, or other consumable parts.
The catalog and online images do not always clearly show the aesthetic condition of the lot; signs of age, scratches, microcracks, or discoloration may not be visible in photographs. We therefore strongly recommend requesting a condition report for a more accurate assessment.
