Turin, 11 november 2016 - A
unique selection of wines and spirits, with bottles from noteworthy Italian and international collections, as well as from small, prestigious cellars, compose the catalogue of the
fine wines and spirits sale organized by
Aste Bolaffi and
Slow Food Editore in
Turin on
November 17th. It includes wines from
Piedmont - like a fine assortment of
Barolo Monfortino Riserva Giacomo Conterno from 1995 to 2011 (lot 74, starting price 4.500 euros) – as well as from
Tuscany, with a
Masseto vertical collection of 24 bottles from 2005 to 2012 in their original wooden cases, also the
top lot of the sale (lot 150, starting price
10.000 euros).
As for French wines, the selection of
Bordeaux is one of the most important lots of the auction, which includes 12 bottles of
Château Mouton Rothschild (lot 45, starting price 6.500 euros). Amongst the
Bourgogne, there is a selection of the “crus” from the most celebrated maison, Domaine de la Romanée Conti, like the
Romanée-Conti Grand Cru 2002 Côte de Nuits (starting price 5.000 euros).
In the prestigious section of spirits and sweet wines, in some cases very rare bottles, there is a great selection of
Bas Armagnac from 1900 to 1939, including a bottle of
Bas Armagnac 1900 Legrand (lot 620, starting price 1.100 euros),
Lheraud and
Macallan, like a bottle of
Macallan Fine & Rare 51 Years 1951 (lot 698, starting price 4.000 euros).
