OROLOGIO DA TAVOLO
Barancourt, Parigi, circa 1780
Cassa in marmo bianco con applicazioni in bronzo dorato cimata
da un cesto di frutti, montanti con zampe ferine cimati da pigne
e retti da catenelle. Meccanica solotempo, scappamento ad ancora
con filo di seta, carica settimanale. Quadrante in smalto bianco
con doppia numerazione araba e romana, firmato Barancourt à Paris.

Ormolu mounted in white marble case, a basket of fruit on top,
uprights with feral paws and pine cones on top supported by chains.
Time only movement, lever escapement with silk thread, weekly
winding. White enamel dial with double Arabic and Roman numerals,
signed Barancourt à Paris.

CASSETTONE A MEZZALUNA
Piemonte, fine del XVIII secolo
Impiallacciata in legno rosa e viola
a decori geometrici, due cassetti
ed uno più piccolo sulla fascia
e due ante laterali, le ante con effetto
trompe-l'oeil a finti cassetti, la fascia
con intarsi a effetto prospettico,
il piano con riserva centrale intarsiata
a parqueterie in essenze varie
e legno tinto.
Restauri e piccole sostituzioni.

Kingwood and rosewood veneer
with geometric decorations,
two drawers and a smaller one
on the frieze and two side doors,
the doors with trompe-l'oeil effect
of faux drawers, the frieze with

and painted wood parqueterie inlaid
central reserve.
