IN CALLIGRAFIA CORRENTE

Inchiostro di china su carta rossa, impastata con frammenti di
foglia d’oro e montata su carta, con listello inferiore in legno,
quello superiore con corda.
Firma dell’autore; due suoi sigilli (kang youwei yin 康有为印, wei xin
bai ri chu wang liu nian san zhou da di you bian si zhou jing san shi
yi guo xing liu shi wan li 维新百日 出亡十六年 三周大地 游徧四洲 经三十
一国 行六十万里) sono stampati su carta bianca (ingiallita) e incollati
sulla carta, secondo la tradizione che ha trovato questa soluzione
al problema della stampa del sigillo rosso su carta rossa.
Non datato.
Diverse pieghe anche consistenti. Uno dei due rotoli ha uno
strappo mal restaurato e alcune lacune vicino al listello superiore.
Segni di passati restauri con il nastro adesivo trasparente sul retro
di un rotolo.

Il distico è una strofa di una poesia di Du Fu, grande poeta di epoca
Tang (618-907), intitolata “Nota per il prefetto Gao, 35” (feng jian
Gao sanshiwu shi jun 奉簡高三十五使君).
Il distico si legge
hualiu kaidao lu (骅骝开道路)
yingsun chu fengcheng (鹰隼出风尘)
“Il destriero Hualiu apre la strada,
Il falco si solleva sopra la polvere alzata dal vento.”

Indian ink on red paper, kneaded with fragments of gold leaf and
mounted on paper, with wooden board at the base and an upper
rope board.
Signature of the author; two of his seals (kang youwei yin 康有为印,
wei xin bai ri chu wang liu nian san zhou da of you bian si zhou jing
san shi yi guo xing liu shi wan li 维新百日 出亡十六年 三周大地 游徧四
洲 经三十一国 行六十万里) are printed on white paper (browned) and
glued on paper, according to the tradition that found this solution
to the problem of printing the red seal on red paper. Not dated.
Several substantial folds. One of the two rolls has a poorly
restored tear and some losses near the upper board. Signs of old
restorations with transparent adhesive tape on the back of a roll.
