GRANDE GUANYIN IN QUARZO ROSA
Cina, XX secolo
Vestito di ampia tunica, la figura sta seduta con la mano sinistra
posata sul ginocchio sinistro mentre con la destra tiene uno scettro
ruyi, al collo una collana con la testa di un ruyi, al centro dell’alta
acconciatura una piccola figura di Buddha.

Dressed in a wide tunic, the figure is sitting with the left hand
on the left knee while holding a ruyi scepter with the right hand,
a necklace with the head of a ruyi at the neck, a small figure of
Buddha in the center of the high chignon.

Fondo rosso geranio in seta cangiante sul quale si dispone al
centro un drago di grandi dimensioni tra le nuvole, quattro altri più
piccoli lo circondano formando un ovale ideale, il tutto racchiuso
entro sottile cornice di volute stilizzate.

la quale si indica il rango, ha barba a pizzetto e sul capo indossa
cappello privo di falde.
