OROLOGIO DA TASCA FRANCESE A CHIAVETTA CON SMALTO,
FIRMATO LE ROY, PERIODO 1790 CIRCA
Cassa a due corpi in metallo dorato, n. 8466, lunetta contornata
di strass, incisioni sui bordi, sul retro sedici strass circondano un
medaglione smaltato su fondo blu scuro raffigurante una scena bucolica
e decorato attorno da paillons. Collarino circolare e pendente ad arco.
Quadrante in smalto bianco, firmato “Jl.n Le.Roy A Paris”, numerazione
romana per le ore e araba per la minuteria, carica frontale.
Lancetta a fantasia per le ore.
Meccanica a fusée firmata “Jl.n LeRoy Paris N. 8466”, scappamento
a verga, coq traforata e incisa, colonnini torniti.

Note: funzionante; sbeccatura al quadrante e lancetta dei minuti
non originale.

FRENCH KEY-WINDING POCKET WATCH WITH ENAMEL,
SIGNED LE ROY, 1780 CIRCA
Two body gilded metal case, n. 8466, bezel sets with paste stones,
engravings on the edges, on the back sixteen paste stones surround
an enameled medallion on blue background depicting a bucolic scene
decorated with paillons. Circular pendant and oval bow.
White enamel dial, signed “Jl.n Le.Roy A Paris”, Roman hour numerals
and Arabic minute markers, front wind up. Fancy hour hand.
Fusee movement signed “Jl.n LeRoy Paris N. 8466”, verge escapement,
pierced and engraved cock, lathe turned pillars.

Note: working; chipping near the winding hole and not original minute
hand.
