OROLOGIO DA TASCA INGLESE A RIPETIZIONE E CON AUTOMI, FIRMATO NORTON, PERIODO 1770 CIRCA
Cassa a due corpi in oro liscio, trafori e incisioni a motivi floreali e ornamentali nella parte esterna. Collarino circolare e pendente ad arco allungato.
Quadrante tipo scheletrato, piccolo quadrantino centrale con numerazione araba per le ore circondato da fregi dorati e due jacquemarts raffiguranti
dei puttini.
Meccanica a fusée firmata sul copripolvere “Eardley Norton London 91791", scappamento a verga, coq traforata e incisa, colonnini circolari.
Ripetizione a ore e quarti su campanello, avvio premendo il collarino.

Note: mancante la controcassa; quadrante, lancette, fregi e automi non originali, mancante leva per la suoneria muta.
Funzionante, ma si consiglia vivamente una revisione.

Two body polished gold case, pierced and engraved with floral and ornamental motifs on the band. Cylindrical pendant and elongated bow.
Skeleton type dial, small centered dial with Arabic hour numerals surrounded by gilt friezes and jacquemarts depicting two putti.
Fusee movement signed on the dustcover “Eardley Norton London 91791”, verge escapement, pierced and engraved cock, cylindrical pillars.
Quarter repeater on bell, push on the pendant.
Diameter Ø: 47 mm
Note: missing the outer case; not original dial, friezes, hands and automatons, missing “à toc” lever.
In working order, however a servicing is highly recommended.
