The fine wine and spirits department has a long tradition of acclaim and presence in the wine world, which back in the 60’s already distinguished the Bolaffi name with the issue of the first Catalogo Bolaffi dei vini d’Italia, a catalogue published by Bolaffi dedicated to fine Italian wines, which was the innovative result of collaboration with Luigi Veronelli.
With that same attention, and the professionalism gained over the years, here are presented the most prestigious wines on an international level, with a special focus on Italian wines.  Many of the bottles presented are multi-award winning wines and have received very high marks from critics and international acclaimed magazines alike.  In most cases, the wines handled are produced in small quantities, a characteristic that is not only a guarantee of quality, but one that continuously increases the value, thus transforming them into a an effective, alternative form of investment.
This department searches for the most prestigious collections and selects, catalogues, and meticulously describes all of the bottles, examining the place in which they were held, the level, the seals, and the labels to understand the state of preservation.
Among the lots offered are the historic French Châteaux, like – Lafite Rothschild, Latour, Cheval Blanc, Margaux, Mouton Rothschild, Haut-Brion, Pavie, Angelus, Yquem, Petrus and Le Pin – and the most important Burgundy Domaines, such as:  Domaine de la Romanée-Conti, Ramonet, Comte de Vogué, Coche Dury, Dugat-Py, Jadot, Dominique laurent, Leroy, Liger-Belair, Mèo-Camuzet, Mugnier, Ponsot and Sauzet.  Some of the most sought-after Champanges include Krug, Dom Perignon, Salon, and Cristal.
The Italian wines selected include the Super Tuscans from Bolgheri and Chianti such as: Ornellaia, Sassicaia, Masseto, Solaia, Tignanello, and other Tuscans such as: Le Pergole Torte, Le Macchiole wines, and Brunello di Montalcino like Soldera and Biondi Santi.  The Piedmont tradition dominates the sector with wines such as Barolo and Barbaresco from Bruno Giacosa, Bartolo Mascarello, Gaja, Giacomo Conterno  and his Monfortino, Roagna, Giuseppe Mascarello and many others.  The proposed wines come from all over Italy, from the north to the south, and representation from all of the regions of Italy is sought with wines such as: l’amarone Dal Forno and Quintarelli from Veneto, San Leonardo from Trentino, Gravner from Friuli, Valentini from Abruzzo, Montevetrano from Campania, and De Bartoli from Sicilia, to name a few.
Some exquisite wines from around the world include Penfold's, Vega Sicilia, and Opus One.
Whiskey and spirit lovers will enjoy our proposed Rums, Cognac, Armagnac, and the rarest bottles of Whiskey like the vintage Macallan, which are almost impossible to find.
Aste Bolaffi handles bottles that are in an excellent state of preservation, suitable for purchase by enthusiasts, brokers, merchants, collectors, sommeliers and restaurants.  Wine auctions often include the sale of large collections, as was the case for some of the bottles from the cellar of Luigi Veronelli.
 The wine department collaborates closely with Slow Food to select a number of wines that are interesting due to the quality, sustainability of the vineyard, the specific producer or region of production, the history of the vineyard, the use and rediscovery of local vines.
 Aste Bolaffi also participates in the events for the Salone del Gusto in Turin, and in Vinitaly.
