With great excitement for the future of Aste Bolaffi, I am pleased to announce that Filippo Lotti, former Chief Executive Officer of Sotheby's Italia, will be the new General Manager and next CEO of our Company from 11 September.
Today, with Lotti, all the staff of Aste Bolaffi will be supported by a person with worldwide appreciation and with incredible experience from a technical, managerial and commercial point of view.
At the same time, with his arrival, all our customers will be able to rely on his profound knowledge of the market, both national and international, in particular for those objects of great importance and rarity, which adds to the over 240 years of experience accumulated among all the specialists of our auction house, across 23 different departments and product categories.
The Bolaffi Group has existed in the world of collecting since 1890 and in over 130 years of history it has evolved many times, always with the mission of growing in the times in the interest of its customers, employees and shareholders. Today a new stage of our legacy is marked.
