COINS, BANKNOTES AND MEDALS
The upcoming numismatic auction will offer over 2,000 lots for sale, with a total of all starting prices that exceeds 1.5 million euros. A vast assortment of ancient and modern coins will be offered; in particular, an ample selection of Pattern Coins of the Kingdom of Italy and an extremely interesting collection of banknotes issued before the Bank of Italy was established stand out. Top lot of the auction is the 1786 Carlino of 5 Doppie coined by Vittorio Amedeo III, a very rare, excellently preserved specimen (starting price € 25,000).
