Wood and ivory walking stick
China, late 19th Century
Wood covered with fluted ivory, ivory knob with trellis decoration, belonged to the commissioner of the Italian Navy Domenico Galletti that brought it to Italy on his return from the expedition to China to quell the Boxer revolt.
