egli abitò per 64 anni. Uomo colto e raffinato, Rol suonava con maestria violino e pianoforte e, come riferisce la sua biografa Giuditta
Dembech, proprio su questo strumento Nino Rota compose il tema musicale di "Il padrino".

Unique memorabilia linked to the great Turin psychic Gustavo Adolfo Rol, coming from the apartment in via Silvio Pellico 31 where he
lived for 64 years. A cultured and refined man, Rol played the violin and piano with mastery and, as his biographer Giuditta Dembech
reports, it was on this instrument that Nino Rota composed the musical theme of "The Godfather".
