Cambogia, Khmer, periodo Bayon, XIII secolo
Parte di elemento architettonico (lintel) scolpito in pietra, raffigurante sul
davanti una serie di nicchie ad accogliere altrettante divinità, tra le quali
Brahma, riconoscibile per le quattro teste e le quattro braccia. Sul lato
sinistro alle nicchie si affiancano alcuni motivi di foglie appaiate. Su base
in legno.
Consunzione dovuta all’età.

Part of an architectural element (lintel) carved in stone, portraying
on the front a series of niches to hold as many deities, including the
Brahma, recognisable for the four heads and four arms. On the left to
the niches are some motifs of pairs of leaves. On wood stand.
Wear due to age.

Cambogia, XII-XIII secolo
Scolpita in pietra di tonalità rossa, la figura si presenta stante in
posizione samabangha, ha le braccia distese lungo i fianchi e il palmo
della mano destra aperto e rivolto verso l’esterno. Su base in legno.

Cambodia, 12th-13th Century
Carved in a reddish stone, this figure is standing in the samabangha
position and has the arms extended along the sides with the palm of
the right hand open outward. On wood stand.
