COPPIA DI INCENSIERI A FORMA DI LEONE BUDDHISTA
(SHISHI)
Cina, dinastia Qing, XVIII-XIX sec.
Ceramica prodotta a stampo con pittura policroma sopracoperta.
Il leone dal corpo in verde smeraldo presenta una rottura
restaurata del portaincenso; mentre quello dal corpo in verde
mela presenta una rottura restaurata della testa e della parte
superiore del portaincenso. Piccola crepa alla base.

China, Qing dynasty, 18th-19th Century
Moulded ceramic with polychrome painting over the glaze.
The lion with an emerald green body has restored breakage
of the incense holder, while the one with the apple green body
has restored breakage of the upper part of the incense holder.
Small crack on the base.

Red earthenware with crackled grey glazing. Decorations with very
thick glassy enamels. Mark impressed on the outside, near the base.
