In rame fuso, le figure sono inserite nella base con due perni
non fissati. Si tratta di Vajrakilaya, divinità in grado di rimuovere
ostacoli e di distruggere i demoni che ostacolano la via
all’illuminazione buddhista.

PRINCIPE MUSICISTA IN BRONZO DORATO

Seduto su una lastra rettangolare sorretta da arbusti, raffigura
probabilmente il Principe Pra Apai Manee, assorto a suonare un
liuto dalla cassa piccola, il capo leggermente inclinato verso il
basso, sul busto nudo un vistoso pettorale con pendente a stella,
i lobi delle orecchie allungati e con orecchini, sul capo una corona
con ampia protuberanza al centro del cranio.

Sitting on a rectangular slab supported by shrubs the figure,
probably depicting Prince Pra Apai Manee, is playing a small chest
lute, the head slightly tilted down, on the naked bust a gorgeous
pectoral with star pendant, the ear lobes elongated and with
earrings, on the head a crown with a large protuberance in the
center.
