SIGILLO QUADRANGOLARE IN PIETRA NERA
Cina, dinastia Quing, XIX-XX secolo
Con bordi e angoli smussati, sulla superficie superiore sono incisi
pochi caratteri fluenti, mentre il sigillo del lato inferiore è iscritto
nella “scrittura degli uffici” (lishu 隸書).

With rounded edges and corners, on the upper surface few fluent
characters engraved, the seal of the lower side is inscribed in the
“writing of the offices” (lishu 隸書).

GRANDE PIETRA DA INCHIOSTRO
Cina, dinastia Quing, XIX secolo
Pietra duan rettangolare, con cavità per mescolare acqua e
inchiostro, entro custodia in legno duro. I tre caratteri “sala delle
tre rarità”, che si riferiscono alla sala che l’imperatore Qianlong fece
allestire nel 1747 nella Città proibita, sono intagliati sulla superficie
della pietra.
Qualche segno di usura.

Duan rectangular stone, with cavity to mix water and ink, inside
an hard wood case. The three characters “hall of the three rarities”,
referring to the hall that the emperor Qianlong had set up in 1747 in
the Forbidden City, are carved on the surface of the stone.
Slightly worn.
