Cina, probabilmente Hongkong, inizio XX secolo retro. Manico originale in ferro.
Pannello in legno montato in cornice e dipinto in nero, rosso e oro. In Craquelure nella pellicola di lacca rossa.

vantaggiosa e propizia”.

Pannelli cinesi in struttura europea, XVIII-XIX secolo
Dipinti in oro, nero e rosso, con intarsi in madreperla su fondo di lacca
marrone. I pannelli sono inseriti in strutture di legno di fattura europea,
ornate di motivi floreali a traforo in alto e basso. In punta ai sostegni
gemme chiuse intagliate a tuttotondo. L’intera struttura è laccata in rosso
scuro.
Tutte le parti dipinte presentano forti craquelure, con alcune cadute di
scaglie. Da restaurare.

TWO PAIRS OF LACQUERED TABLE SCREENS, PAINTED AND INLAID
WITH MOTHER-OF-PEARL
Chinese panels with a European mount, 18th-19th Century
Painted in gold, black, and red, with mother-of-pearl inlays on a brown
lacquer base. The panels with ornate floral fretwork motifs at the top
and bottom are framed in a European wood structure. At the top the
frames end with carved closed buds. The entire structure is lacquered
in dark red.
All the painted parts present extensive crackles, with some flaking. To
be restored.
