OROLOGIO DA TASCA INGLESE CON AUTOMI, FIRMATO DORMER, PERIODO 1820
Cassa a due corpi in metallo dorato, collarino circolare e pendente a ferro di cavallo; controcassa in metallo dorato
decorata con incisioni ornamentali e sul retro medaglione smaltato blu traslucido su fondo guilloché e ornato
da paillons.
Quadrante dipinto con scena campestre e due automi con la figura intenta a nutrire un’oca, fascia esterna in smalto
bianco per i secondi e quadrantino delle ore con numerazione romana al “12”.
Meccanica a fusée firmata “Edw Dormer London N. 4812”, carica a conoide, scappamento a cilindro, coq traforata
e incisa, colonnini circolari.

Two body gilded metal case, circular pendant and “horseshoe” style bow. Double case engraved with ornamental
decoration, on back blue translucent enameled medallion with paillons on guilloché field.
Dial painted with a bucolic scene with two automaton representing a figure feeding a goose, outer seconds
division and eccentric hour dial with Roman numerals.
Movement signed “Edw (Edward) Dormer London N. 4812”, fusee, cylinder escapement, pierced and engraved
cock, upper cap jewel, circular pillars.
